| Customer Reviews: Absolutely Brilliant-fills in all the technical gaps July 19, 2010 CRV (New York City) Haney is a teaching genius. Ive taken personal golf lessons before and everything he teaches here compliments that but, he also fills in certain technical gaps that the instructor didnt go over because he . Hank on the other hand gives detailed steps of everybody part that has to be used during the course of a swing.
As mentioned despite having lessons and relying on that foundation to hit the ball consistantly, i felt something was missing since my windup was stiff and forced therefore i found myself mishitting 5%-10% of the balls at the range which always translated to low scores on the course with various mishits follwed by the occassional lucky shot that landed on the green to offset what would have been an autrocious performance. I got sick and tired of relying on luck and slight technique changes as temporary fixes so i decided to by this video hoping for a final answer on all my issues.
After watching this video Hank Haney pretty much filled in all the gaps on what I was doing wrong and what i was doing right but didnt know why i did it that way. This includes the grip, the stance, the ball address wind up, and finally the follow through which was the key ingredient to final know what it takes to get your body in tune with hitting the ball far. The wedge was the other poor part of my game as i had a habit of topping the ball when winding up with small back swing but, Haney pinpointed what i was doing wrong as it all relates back to his swing technique. The putting portion is priceless as well as Hank tells you the essentials of becoming better at it through distance control rather then poinlessly aiming for the hole hoping to get a highlight reel eagle. This video should make your posture close to pro level. Learn from the best and take his advise and no one elses.

Good Video January 27, 2008 Don King (San Diego, California USA) 2 out of 7 found this review helpful
The premise of this DVD is that the vast majority of golf shots are made with a driver, wedge, or putter. So those are the only clubs covered. Some good ideas here but This DVD won't totally turn your whole golf game around, which is what I need!
As expected, this is a very good instructional DVD. September 15, 2007 Frizzante 23 out of 23 found this review helpful
I was most impressed by this DVD.
The instruction that Hank Haney provides in this DVD is in three parts; the Driver, the Wedge and the Putter. He claims, and I do not doubt him , that 75% of the shots played by professional golfers are with these clubs. The figure is possibly higher for amateurs. With better use of these clubs Mr Haney sees the prospect of a significant improvement in the scores of amateur players.
He explanations are first rate. They fully explain the reason for errant shots from each club; something some other coaches are seem reluctant to do for fear of over-complicating their presentation. I was most impressed with this coaches ability to avoid oversimplifying the lesson, but at the same time he does not make each lesson impossibly detailed.
I tried some ideas out on the driving range the day after I saw the DVD and found it immediately helpful.
I particularly liked the focus on the back of the left hand leading the clubface to an impact that is correctly aligned with the target, for not only the driver, but the wedge and putter as well.
I have watched many instructional dvd's and rate this amongst the best.
I also like Simon Holmes Digital Golf School. See my review.
By the way, if you want to watch great golf, all the Ryder Cup DVD's are excellent as are the 1986 Masters, 1997 Masters and 2006 British Open.
