Great for cheating at pinata beating.... February 16, 2010 Robert I bought this on accident. I thought it was a fancy thumb drive but it turned out to be a vampire killing tool...which was on my shopping list anyway so I just kept it, and boy am I glad I did. Have you ever been chased by a vampire? I'm talking a real vampire. The kind that you'd call Blade to help you deal with. Not those sissy Bi-light vampires. Those vampires can be taken care of with just an angry stare. No, I mean the kind of vampires that don't look like they just got done dancing at a gay disco. The kind of vampires that look at puppies the same way thirsty men look at a canteen of water. They'll pop your puppy's head off and drink it's red nectar like if it were a tea on a hot Arizona day. Then throw the empty carcass at you and move on to your children! What was I talking about again? Oh yeah, Family Guy! That show is great. I suggest watching all of it....wait...no...um.....
Mediocre product January 13, 2010 Marc Archambeault (Southern USA) This product is what you would expect for $[...]. The metal is 'trash' metal and the handle is plastic. The arm straps are velcro, which was a dissapointment. Also, you need to assemble the sword - it comes in pieces, and the allen wrench they send is not good enough to put it together. Lastly, trying to contact their 'customer service' is pointless - they do not answer their phone.
Cool looking... August 1, 2009 Chemlight9000 (GA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
If you have man forearms then these will not even begin to fit you. IF you have little girl or kid forearms these will fit you just fine. Other than that they look wicked.
Great Item September 30, 2008 Tony Hannides (USA) I didn't know i had to assemble it myself. You'll need another alum wrench and maybe a small mallot/hammer. other than that, love the sword!
Not as exciting as I thought they would be... August 11, 2008 Adam (MA, USA) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I think these used to be advertised as the blades from "Bloodrayne", because I specifically remember buying these for that reason. However, if you've played the games or even seen the movie you know these aren't the same blades. I knew that too, but I thought they looked really cool in the pictures anyway. If you want a real replica you'll have to find it elsewhere.
Don't get me wrong the price is really cheap and you should realize that when purchasing these. I've been collecting swords and weapons for quite some time now and these are probably the lowest quality items in my collection. Naturally you get what you pay for and if you want something cool for twelve dollars then this is exactly what you want. The steel isn't the highest quality steel you'll find, naturally that is reflected in the price.
Sounds like I knew what I was getting... so why the low rating? I don't know, something just seems too shoddy. Maybe it's the fact I had to put the handle on myself? Or the velcro strap that just seemed/looked silly to me? If you think the image looks cool and that's exactly what you're looking for then you won't be disappointed, but to me these didn't feel like fully imposing weapons. They really don't feel that way when you hold them. Granted you could never use these in a battle realistically, but, even then, it should at least give off some presence and I just don't think these accomplish that.
Furthermore these just aren't designed well enough that even make them worth putting on display. The blade looks cool, but the plastic on the handles throws it off. Who wants a weapon with a velcro strap attached to plastic on display? I really don't. Again, if you just want a cheap weapon to show off... then the price is right for you, but serious weapons collectors should avoid, especially if display is an important factor to you.
